- Investigates how modifiable health/social/behavioral/environmental exposures across the lifespan influence late-life brain health and risk for dementia.

Achievements
- PhD in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology emphasis) from the University of Houston. Completed post-doctoral clinical/research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the Boston VA Healthcare System.
- Served on the Scientific Advisory Committee for Neuropsychology Division of the American Psychological Association. Active member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
- Founder/Director of the Geriatrics Cognitive Capacity Clinic - a specialty clinic at UWHealth dedicated to comprehensive and objective evaluation of healthcare and financial decision-making capacities.
- Has an active scientific/research role in the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study, Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, and the Mark Vascular Cognitive Impairment in Dementia consortium.
