Achievements
- I organized and represented workers for more than 20 years as union representative in both the private and public sectors.
- I have been a labor educator for about 20 years, mainly here, at the School for Workers, which is also the Department of Labor Education.
- I teach a variety of classes in such as areas as collective bargaining, labor relations, labor history, contract administration, union leadership, etc.
- Most recent publication: "The Recent Evolution of Wisconsin Public Unionism Since Act 10," coauthored with my colleagues Michael Childers, Alexia Kulwiec and Armando Ibarra
- I hold a B.A. in American History, an M.A. in Labor Studies, and a Ph.D. in American History with a focus on Labor History.
